The Avenue
167 – 169 Avenue Road, Mosman
With part of the original building dating back to the 1890′s it was important to preserve the heritage qualities of The Avenue. Boddam Whethem where enlisted as architects due to their extensive experience in heritage and restoration projects in Mosman. They managed to preserve and highlight the period details of The Avenue while providing modern and light living spaces through the integration of a new building using cutting edge materials and building methodologies.
The distinctive aesthetic is both contemporary and classic, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality. The finished product is a boutique building of 5 whole-floor apartments each with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 car spaces – some with large studies.
